This is my response to the Robert Frost poem which I blogged about yesterday:
PATHS (LIFE’S RICH TAPESTRY)
You think you won’t go
back there and try the other one –
maybe that’s how it usually
goes but it’s not what I have done.
Or was it just the same path,
further down the line,
all part of life’s rich tapestry, a
path uniquely mine.
Brambles, thickets, snakes and snares,
but sun and blue sky too.
A frightening, scary, difficult path,
that much indeed is true.
Do riches lie beyond the wood –
the blue sky tells me so.
Despite each and every obstacle
it’s down that path I go.
